Journaling to Jacob (in progress)

Created late in 2003, this piece represents my first attempt to use multiple font sizes in a single piece.

The smaller font reads "It's grandiose - bigger than what I feel capable of but wonderfully romantic. The concept of just jotting you notes as you grow..."

The larger font reads "Deliberate jottings to our son - creating a history that is exclusively his - point in time glimpses..."

The photo shows the piece in an unfinished stated - the completed platter will be a gift to my son when he's old enough to understand the references.
